I'm a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh working primarily in normative ethics. My research focuses on cluelessness - the idea that we know next to nothing about the total consequential value of our actions. In particular, I'm looking at how this might affect consequentialist ethics, as well as the decision-making challenges it may present for effective altruists. I also have broader interests in epistemology, decision theory, and philosophy of religion.
